ORGT Backpacking is a subcommittee of Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech (ORGT). Specifically we're a group of people who get around the backcountry on foot - from dayhikes, to multi-day backpacks. You may also find us wearing snowshoes, or crampons! At the heart of the ORGT Backpacking activities is the Backpacking subcommittee meeting. This is a weekly meeting held every Monday at 6pm every semester where we discuss what trips we've been on, and where we're

planning on going. We also talk about issues that interest backcountry travelers - including low impact issues, the latest gear, backcountry tips and secrets. Find out more about getting involved!
