ORGT Climbing Wall

The Climbing Wall, known as "The Wall", is located inside the Campus Recreation Center (CRC) and offers top roping and bouldering to qualified climbers, as well as an introductory class for anyone who wishes to learn. The Wall also has all necessary gear available for rental, including shoes, harnesses, belay devices, and helmets.

Instruction is offered for beginner climbers to teach basic skills such as proper harness use, belaying techniques, knot tying, climber/belayer communication, and general climbing technique. Included with the cost of instruction is gear rental, and a pass that can be used for 2 free visits to the Wall. On their third visit, new climbers will be expected to pass a short test over these basic skills to ensure safety while climbing.
